The original acrobatic production Duo Carpet Spinning: Dance of Passion, created by young directors Wu Yi and Lin Yi, and performed by artists Zhang Jiayi and Xie Zongbin of the Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre, has been awarded the highest honor, the "Prix du Président de la République", at the 44th France Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain. Established in 1977, the France Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain ranks among the world’s most prestigious platforms for circus arts.
