On May 29, 2023, the China National Alliance of College Magic Clubs announced its establishment at the working meeting of the Magic Art Committee of the Chinese Acrobats Association and the Seminar on the Development of Chinese Magic Arts. Mr. Tang Yanhai, executive vice president of the Chinese Acrobats Association, awarded a plaque to Mr. Li Ning, the chairman of the Alliance.
The China National Alliance of College Magic Clubs brings together the magic clubs of colleges and universities across China to strengthen the construction of young magic teams, and consolidate the foundation for the development of magic arts. The alliance is managed by the China Acrobats Association Magic Art Committee, which holds annual meetings and holds a series of activities such as exhibitions, lectures and trainings.
In recent years, with the rise and development of China magic art, college magic has become an important force. According to incomplete statistics, Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Hubei, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hebei, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Gansu, Anhui, Shanxi, Henan and other 14 provinces have college magic clubs, covering more than 180 colleges and universities. More than 10,000 students participate. These alliances hold exhibitions, trainings and other activities every year to spread the knowledge of magic, cultivate magic lovers and promote the development of magic arts.
