Retracing the Silk Road,Promoting the Sino-Italian Friendship

——“The Blooming Golden Chrysanthemum”Chinese Magic Show Held in Italy

　　At the invitation of Loop Media Network,Mrs.Yu Xiuying,Deputy Director of Acrobatic Art Center of CFLAC,headed a art troupe of 8 people from China Acrobats Association went to Italy from 16th to 27th  May 2024, to participate in the promotion gala shows and opening ceremony performance of the FISM Europe Championships of Magic which was held in San-Vincent,as well as held the “Blooming Golden Chrysanthemum”Chinese Magic Shows in Milan and Roma respectively.

　　The Silk Road stretches for thousands of miles and last for millennial,building a bridge for the exchange of civilizations between the East and the west,playing an important role in people’s mutual understanding and cultural integration.As the two ends of the Silk Road, China and Italy not only had frequent trade,but also close cultural exchanges, especially in the field of magic.As early as the Western Han Dynasty,more than 2000 years ago,Roman tricks were introduced to our country,such as Swallowing Swords,Spitting Fire and Escape Bound,etc, Which enrich the forms and content of traditional Chinese illusions, and promoting the prosperity and development of Chinese illusions.This year was the 700th anniversary of death of the Italian traveler Marco Polo,whose book The Travels of Marco Polo sparked the first“boom”about China in the West and ushered in a new era of Sino-Western exchanges. Marco Polo is regarded as a pioneer of cultural exchanges between East and West.On this occasion, China Acrobats Association Art Troupe come to Italy to have performance tour, carrying forward the legacy of our predecessor with magic,retracing the Silk Road and jointly advocating for Sino-Italian friendship!
