Mr. Tang Yanhai awarded the “Great Wall Cup” to the Argentinian magician

Mr. Yu Feng, the Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Austria, delivered a speech

　　From September 30 to October 3, Mr. Tang Yanhai, the Vice President of China Acrobats Association, traveled to Austria with a 12-member troupe of artists at the invitation of the Original Close-up Magic Symposium and Bill Cheung Magic Theater, to hold the “Blooming Golden Chrysanthemum” China Magic Show.

　　Most of the programs in this show were award-winning performances of the Golden Chrysanthemum Award, the highest China Acrobatic award. They focused on combining Chinese esthetics and modern magic skills in the form and showcasing new breakthroughs and achievements in Chinese magic. The magic show included a total of three performances, each for professional magicians, overseas Chinese and local Austrians. All three performances were  well received by the audience. The program “Workaholic” by Chinese magician Zhang Junzhe won the Best Original Award at the competition of the Original Close-up Magic Symposium. At the symposium, the China Acrobats Association Art Troupe awarded the “Great Wall Cup” to the Argentinian magician. An exhibition of Chinese magic props was also held at the Bill Cheung Magic Theater.
