The “Aromatic Golden Chrysanthemum” Magic Show was Successfully Recorded in Shenzhen City

"Aromatic Golden Chrysanthemum" Magic Show was successfully recorded in Shenzhen city from October 10 to 13, 2021.The event was sponsored by the China Acrobats Association（CAA） and the Macao Chinese Culture Association;organized by Macao Magic Artists Association, Macao Weng's Magic, the Foreign Exchange Committee of CAA, the China Magic Art Society and the Shenzhen Acrobats Association. The purpose of the activity is to promote the exchange on magic art. The event was originally planned to be held in Macao at the same time. Due to the impact of the epidemic situation, it was changed to be recorded in Shenzhen city, and it will be shown on Macao Variety Channel and Macao Satellite TV on January 16 and February 3, 2022 respectively.
The magic show includes the traditional popular performances "The Dream of the Fan" by Xin Yafei, vice chairman of the Shenzhen Acrobats Association; the "Rhyme of Snow" by Yang Xiaolei, successor of the Chinese magic of intangible cultural heritage and vice chairman of the Tianjin Acrobats Association;the "Jiu’er" by Li Nuoyafangzhou, the fifth generation successor of Yang's classical magic of provincial intangible cultural heritage, and the "Cup an balls" by Chen Jian.There are also modern magic acts such as “Magic Box” by Wu Pengcheng, Vice Chairman of Hubei Acrobats Association; “Paper Plane” by Zhu Mingzhu, and “Secret Land” by Hu Linglong. The program was also interspersed with performances of "hoops" and "Jujitsu" from Fuyong Acrobatic Troupe. The whole performance was traditional but novel, mysterious but joyful. The audience were filled with cheers, applause and laughter, and the performance received completely success.
After the show, Xiao Shige, Deputy Secretary General CAA expressed his gratitude to the actors for their long-term support for the CAA and the development of the Chinese magic. The magic show focuses on the magic award program of "Golden Chrysanthemum Award", the highest award in Chinese acrobatics, highlighting originality and innovation. It aims to establish a good image in the international magic world by taking the "Flourish of Golden Chrysanthemum" magic show as a platform and taking Chinese traditional magic as a bridge for cultural exchange, so that overseas audiences can see Chinese culture and Chinese traditional magic can bloom in a new era.
