Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Sun Weidong said that Chinese acrobatics has a long history. It inherits and carries forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture. It contains the wisdom of the Chinese people. Chinese acrobatics seeks stability in danger, stillness in motion and amazement in the ordinary, which leads to a unique art form that gathers Chinese culture heritage, aesthetic connotations and ethnic spirit. It has become famous both in domestic and abroad by winning gold and silver medals in international competitions and spreading friendship during their journey around the world. For such reputation and achievements, acrobatic artists practice diligently for years and keep striving for excellence. We hope the envoys will enjoy the charm of Chinese acrobatic and sense the openness and inclusiveness of our culture. Mr. Sun Weidong gave his wishes to the children at the scene to celebrate the International Children’s Day in advance.
The executive vice president of China Acrobats Association, Mr Tang Yanhai said after the performance that as a borderless world language and the most open art category, acrobatics always plays an important role in the cultural exchanges. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Chinese acrobatics has returned to the political stage and acted as cultural ambassadors, making great influence on cultural diplomacy, cultural publicity, cultural exchanges and cultural trade. Since the 20th National Congress of the CPC, the Chinese acrobatic community has made great efforts to actively carry out various foreign exchange activities and made certain achievements. Today’s acrobatic show is the second cooperation between the China Acrobats Association and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to celebrate Children's Day after 2021. The activity takes acrobatics as a link, which is of great significance to enhance exchanges, friendship and the image of China to the outside world. In the future, the China Acrobats Association will continue to work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the celebration event every year and build it into a brand project for foreign exchanges.
