Founded in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1948, FISM is the most famous international magic organization in the world. Currently with more than 80 group members and over 50,000 individual members from more than 50 countries and regions, FISM aims to lead and unite magic organizations all over the world and promote the inheritance, protection and development of magic art; protect the copyright of magic skills; organize international magic events such as the triennial WCM, and supervise regional magic events such as the continental championships of magic. The Magic Art Committee of CAA joined the FISM in2000.

　　From July 26 till 31, 2009, the 24th WCM, sponsored by CFLAC, MCT and Beijing Municipal Government and organized by CAA, Publicity Department of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, was successfully held in China National Convention Center. More than 2,500 magicians, magic props exhibitors and magic fans from 66 countries and regions in the world attended this magic gala. A total of 100 stage magic and close-up magic programs signed up for the competition, 4 stage magic competitions and 3 close-up magic competitions were held, to compete for their respective champions. 14 magic lectures and exhibitions of magic props, books and pictures were held for days. China selected 2 close-up magic acts, 3 large stage magic acts, 4 hand magic acts and 5 general magic act to participate in this WCM and won two Silver Awards for Stage Illusion and Stage General Magic.

　　In 2006, Magician Dai Binchun won the Gold Medal Award in the Stage Manipulate Magic Category of the 23rd FISM WCM.

　　In 2009, Magician Fu Yandong won the Silver Medal Award in the Stage Illusion Magic Category of the 24th FISM WCM.

　　In 2022, Magician Zhu Mingzhu won the Bronze Medal Award in the Stage General Magic Category of the 28th FISM WCM，as well as “The Stage Creation Magic Award”.
