Since 2012, five sessions of CBIMC and 4 sessions of ICMC have taken place in Changping District.
CBIMC and ICMC not only enjoy common functions and goals but also differ from each other in positioning and characteristics. CBIMC pays more attention to the professionalism, orientation, originality and representativeness of magic, focusing on the development of magic industry; while ICMC highlights the future development of magic art and devotes itself to cultivating magic talents and popularizing magic culture among young college students. For each session, judges, guests, props dealers and magic amateurs from nearly 20 countries and regions will gather to carry out dozens of magic activities and
performances, presenting a visual feast of magic to the audience.
Thanks to the constant sessions of CBIMC, the international recognition, influence and voices of China’s magic and magicians have been significantly raised, various magic resources pooled, and the fame of Changping as a Magic Capital established.
