From August 3 to 5, Mr. Lu Hang, Deputy Secretary General of the China Acrobats Association, led a 3-member CAA delegation to Hong Kong, China. The delegation met with representatives of Hong Kong Literary and Art Circles and artists, and attended the performance of "Chinese Magic Arts’ Wonder".
On August 4, the meeting was held at Tsuen Wan Town Hall. The participants reached a broad consensus on strengthening the training of young magicians, inviting acrobatic magic arts troupes from the mainland to Hong Kong and strengthening the joint development of magic arts in both the mainland and Hong Kong.
The “Chinese Magic Arts’ Tour” is supported by the China Acrobats Association, organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles and co-organized by the Hong Kong Acrobats Association. It is one of the highlights of the first "Chinese Culture Festival" in Hong Kong and the first large-scale performance of the Hong Kong Acrobats Association since its establishment in 2022. The entire show includes 11 acts and gathers 12 outstanding acrobatic and magic artists from the mainland and Hong Kong. The atmosphere of the show was hot, with non-stop cheering, laughter and applause, attracting nearly 3,000 spectators in three days.
This is the first time in recent years that the China Acrobats Association has sent a delegation to Hong Kong. This is of great significance to further promote exchanges between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong in the fields of acrobatics and magic.
